As a junior sales and account manager you will support the sales team with their acquisitions and account management tasks. One of the most important tasks will be processing incoming information requests, preparation of quotations and the follow up of your actions. Keep connected with your prospects is very important. Another important activity will be the targeting of suspect opportunities, exploring new markets and find leads with nothing more than the Storgrid product, the marketing collateral provided by Storgrid and your creativity. Updating the CRM system, support with obtaining strategic marketing information and drawing up sales reports belong to your daily activities. Storgrid is a young technology company with global ambitions and this is your chance to be a member of the first hour. A commercial enthusiast, with affinity for IT sector. Some technical understanding of data infrastructures is a benefit. Experience in a commercial environment, preferably in a sales position has added value. The successful candidate must be able to work solitary as well as in a team without problems. This candidate will spot opportunities extremely well and is capable to tell the difference between the leads with potential and the leads without. A thorough knowledge of Dutch and English language, verbal and in writing is mandatory for this position. The candidate has a flexible attitude and can work accurate under the pressure of deadlines. The candidate must be prepared to “walk the extra mile” when this is required to close a deal. Required education is a completed commercial intermediate or higher vocational education, or otherwise proven experience and a track record in the field of IT sales. The candidate will be supported by our experienced sales management of course.
We are offering a challenging opportunity with this high-tech company, with a great deal of independence. This will be an assignment for 6 months with an option for a permanent contract. The wages will be based upon age, combined with the achievement of sales targets. These targets will be realistic and will be set with mutual approval. Of course the necessary equipment will be provided to do the job without limitations. There will be excellent secondary conditions. Others to be negotiated.
